Description

WIRELESS CLASS P HEAT DETECTOR RHT-E

Description

The RHT-E is the latest in wireless heat detector technology. It is a fully intelligent device and compatible with FIREwave wireless Translator and Expander modules. The detector is designed for open area protection giving the best possible warning of a fire condition in locations where smoke detection technology is not suitable.
The well-proven adaptive radio signal processing algorithms ensure the highest levels of life safety and system reliability are achieved. An in-built magnet test allows easy activation to verify correct functionality and response.

RSM-CP Wireless Resettable Manual Call Point

Description

A Wireless Re-settable Manual Call Point which features a simulated glass front. When activated, a plastic ‘flag’ is displayed in the window of the unit; the supplied key will reset the flag and unit. Supplied with back box.
Weatherproof version also available (RSM-CP/W).

Wireless Conventional Interface Module RSM-CIM

Description

The Hochiki Wireless Conventional Interface Module (RSM-CIM) is a device that interfaces wireless field devices on to a Conventional Fire Control Panel (FCP) via the radial Zone circuit (for Detectors, Manual Call Points and Input Modules) and one of the radial Sounder circuits (for all Audio-Visual devices). The RSM-CIM is powered from an external 24 V dc supply. Full monitoring and control of the wireless field devices is possible. Communication between the RSM-CIM, additional Expander Modules (RSM-EXP) (if fitted) and field devices is wireless via a bi-directional, analogue-intelligent protocol.

Wireless Expander Module RSM-EXP

Description

The RSM-EXP Expander Module increases radio coverage of a FIREwave RSM-WTM Translator Module, allowing the use of the system in larger buildings and in difficult wireless environments. Multiple Expanders can be utilised in a micro cell structure to provide a solution to large, complex systems. Up to 7 Expander Modules may be configured to any one Translator Module forming a micro cell cluster. Each cluster can be programmed with up to 32 radio field devices. These devices can comprise of any combination of detectors, call point and input modules and include up to 16 sounders and output devices. The Expander Module relays the intelligent device information from the field devices to the Loop Translator Module using a highly stable bi directional radio communication protocol. The system parameters are programmed into the Expander Module via an RS232 PC link. The unit is housed in an IP65 housing making it suitable for mounting in a wet environment or outdoors and is also fitted with two orthogonal antennae, reducing signal fading and ensuring reliable radio communications.

WIRELESS BASE SOUNDER

Description

The HFW-BS-05 Wireless Base Sounder unit is an aesthetically pleasing and cost effective alternative to traditional wall mounted sounder units where visual impact is important. Each unit has an integral moulded base for mounting a FIREwave detector (ROP-E, RMC-E, RHT-E) or a sounder cover if a detector is not required. The unit has as standard 32 recognised sounder tones and 2 levels of volume adjustment, all of which can be easily configured on site. Powered by standard lithium batteries and utilising well proven adaptive radio signal processing algorithms ensure the highest levels of life safety and reliability.

WIRELESS BASE SOUNDER BEACON (VID) HFW-BSB-05

Description

The HFW-BS-05 Wireless Base Sounder with Visual Indicator unit is an aesthetically pleasing and cost effective alternative to traditional wall mounted units where visual impact is important. Each unit has an integral moulded base for mounting a FIREwave wireless detector (ROP-E, RMC-E, RHT-E) or a sounder cover if a detector is not required. The unit has as standard 32 recognised sounder tones and 2 levels of volume adjustment, all of which can be easily configured on site. Additional to the audible warning the unit is also fitted with a Red LED visual indicator for added warning capability. Utilising well-proven adaptive radio signal processing algorithms ensures the highest levels of life safety and reliability.

Wireless Powered Output Module RSM-POM

Description

The RSM-POM is a Wireless Powered Output Module which allows the control panel to activate/switch the circuits of an external device or system wirelessly via an RSM-CIM, RSM-EXP or RSM-WTM. The unit’s contacts can be configured to be normally open or normally closed and switch at 30 V dc/125 V ac at 2 A. The unit can be configured to provide either a 12 V dc or a 24 V dc output. Module parameters are programmed via the Translator Module (RSM-WTM) which then automatically manages radiated power depending on the device communication quality. All modules can then adjust their frequency and radiated power in accordance with the signal quality received from the Translator Module. The unit is mounted in a protective IP65 housing for mounting in hostile conditions and to enable the termination of fire protected cabling. The module allows the connection of third party equipment to the fire system via the monitored input circuit. The module is also controllable from the Fire Control Panel via the cause and effect programming and offers the same level of flexibility as a standard addressable module.

Wireless Single Channel Input Module

Description

The RSM-IP is a Single Channel Input Module providing a convenient and cost effective solution for monitoring and controlling third party equipment. Module parameters are programmed via the Translator Module (RSM-WTM) which then automatically manages radiated power depending on the device communication quality. All modules can then adjust their frequency and radiated power in accordance with the signal quality received from the Translator Module. The unit is mounted in a protective IP65 housing for mounting in hostile conditions and to enable the termination of fire protected cabling. The module allows the connection of third party equipment to the fire system via the monitored input circuit. The module is also controllable from the Fire Control Panel via the cause and effect programming and offers the same level of flexibility as a standard addressable module.

Wireless Translator Module RSM-WTM

Description
The RSM-WTM is a fully intelligent wired to wireless Translator Module. Completely compatible with the Hochiki ESP protocol, the module allows the use of fully intelligent radio (wireless) field devices alongside standard hard wired devices. The Translator Module allows the connection of up to 32 radio field devices to an addressable fire detection loop. Multiple Translators can be used on a system providing the system has sufficient loop addresses available. Each radio field device takes a loop address making them fully intelligent and their radio connectivity transparent to the end user. System parameters are programmed via the Translator Module and a PC link. The Translator Module automatically manages detector radiated power depending on the device communication quality. The module is housed in an IP65 housing making it suitable for mounting in wet environments and outdoors. The unit is fitted with two orthogonal antennae which reduce radio fade and ensure reliable radio communication.

Wireless Magnetic Door Holder HFW-DHR-01
